Madison James is a wealthy, successful, no-nonsense CEO of the cosmetics company, “Mad World Cosmetics,” which she started out of the trunk of her car, and built into a global name. Madison had a difficult childhood, caring for her younger siblings, this is one of the reasons why she has difficulty forging romantic relationships but Brady has changed all that. But, Ian, her husband, has been exerting his influence on her for years. On his say-so, she declined the CEO position at Titan and he backstabbed her by taking the position himself. Brady values honesty and she betrayed that honesty for months by hiding her marital status.

Madison's primary rival is Kate Dimera who own Countess Wilhemina. Madison despises her but how far will she go to best her? Kate is onto her but she has no idea.

Brady ultimately forgave Madison but to protect him, she must lie once again? Will she lose Brady? Will she break free from Ian? What will she do when her previous protege Sami is exposed as a fraud?

Kate Roberts Dimera is part femme-fatale, part villain and always entertaining. She's fiercely protective of those she loves, she plays dirty and she never apologizes. She's portrayed by Lauren Koslow. Kate is a woman who enjoys wealth and power, she was abused by her first husband but decades later, she's a formidable woman. She's the mother of six children and married to the well-connected Stefano Dimera and resides in his mansion. Her company, Countess Wilhemina is a rival to MadWorld Cosmetics, Kate wants to destroy Madison's company. Her attempt to thwart Madison by hiring Sami failed since Madison suspected this would happen and formulated a plan of her own. But, Sami has broken ties with Madison and Ian, Kate's former lover and Madison's husband informed her of Sami's deceit. She's vowed to destroy Madison, MadWorld Cosmetics and to ruin Sami even though she's the mother of her grandchildren.

Brady Black is a man driven to extremes. He's portrayed by Eric Martsolf. He was the CEO of Titan Industries when it acquired MadWorld Cosmetics run by Madison James. Their first meeting was equal parts awkard and humorous. They butted heads at the office but sparks also flew. Brady's got a penchant for alcohol and for breaking hearts. But, Madison has captivated him. He values honesty but Madison lied to him repeatedly. She was still married when they dated. He rejected her but he's since forgiven her and vows to help her get away from Ian. He's reaffirmed his love for her but what happens when that love is tested once again? Ian now runs the company he was once CEO of, Ian has claimed Madison as property. Brady is a good man but how dirty will he play to salvage a relationship with Madison?

Samantha "Sami" Brady is a previous bad girl who can be loving but also dangerous. She is portrayed by Alison Sweeney whom you may recognize as the host of The Biggest Loser . Sami is mom of three, wife to a former cop. She and Madison were friends when they lived in Colorado as young kids. That is what got her foot in the door as a Junior Executive at MadWorld Cosmetics. Ain't nepotism grand?! She and Madison have clashed at work, due mostly to Sami's disapproval of her relationship with Brady Black. But, she managed to forge a strong relationship with Madison and is now a successful businesswoman. Madison devised a strategy whereby Sami became a mole at Countess Wilhemina. Sami is unaware that Kate knows she's the mole. Her life is falling apart. Her husband has left her for cheating on him, her son despises her and she could face prison time for corporate espionage. What will Madison do when she finds out Sami has been discovered even though she no longer works for her? Will she extend an olive branch? How far will Sami go to protect herself?

Ian McAllister was once the mystery man Madison spoke to on multiple occasions. He is portrayed by veteran actor Ian Buchanan, most recognizable as Duke Lavery of General Hospital. Ian arrived in Salem in February and has already wreaked havoc on several Salem residents, not the least of which is his own wife! Unbeknownst to Brady, Madison was married to Ian, her mentor who helped her launch her company. Theirs is a loveless marriage. Ian treats Madison as property; profitable property. He enjoys toying with her and she has been unable to escape his clutches. A bigger complication is Kate who was once involved with Ian while he was married to Madison; they were in love. This is why Madison loathes Kate. To make matters worse, Ian surreptitiously gained control of Titan after telling Madison to refuse the position Victor offered her. He's become CEO and in essence, controls MadWorld Cosmetics. How far will Ian go to keep Madison under his control? How far will Brady go to protect her? What and who will be left in the wake once Ian unleashes his fury?
